Instructions

Step 1 In a bowl, toss the chicken with olive oil, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and oregano.
Step 2 Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for 5–7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 3 In the same skillet, add a bit more oil if needed and sauté the sliced peppers and onion for 4–5 minutes until slightly charred and tender-crisp.
Step 4 Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 5 Return the chicken to the skillet and toss everything together.
Step 6 Add soy sauce and lime juice, mixing well to coat.
Step 7 Cook for another 1–2 minutes until heated through and well combined.
Step 8 Serve hot on its own or with rice, tortillas, or over a salad.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or microwave until warmed through.
Add a splash of water or lime juice when reheating to keep the chicken juicy.
