S’mores Cookies

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 3: In a large bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.

Step 4: Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture and mix until fully combined.

Step 5: Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until a soft dough forms.

Step 6: Fold in the chocolate chips.

Step 7: Scoop large portions of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.

Step 8: Bake for 10 minutes, then remove the cookies from the oven.

Step 9: Place a marshmallow half in the center of each cookie and return them to the oven for 3 to 4 more minutes until the marshmallows are lightly toasted.

Step 10: Remove the cookies from the oven and immediately press a piece of Hershey’s chocolate into the center of each marshmallow.

Step 11: Drizzle melted chocolate over the cookies and allow them to cool slightly before serving.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.

For longer storage, refrigerate the cookies for up to 1 week.

To reheat, microwave each cookie for 10 to 15 seconds to make the chocolate and marshmallow gooey again.

You can also freeze the cookies in a sealed container for up to 2 months. Thaw at room temperature before reheating.
