Instructions
Step 1 Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Step 2 In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
Step 3 In a separate bowl, mix melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Step 4 Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
Step 5 Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients until a soft dough forms.
Step 6 Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
Step 7 Scoop dough balls and place them onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them apart.
Step 8 Bake for 10–12 minutes until edges are golden and centers remain soft.
Step 9 Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
Freeze baked cookies for up to 2 months and thaw at room temperature before serving.
Reheat in the microwave for 10–15 seconds for a warm, gooey texture.
