Instructions

Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

Step 2: In a bowl, combine berries, 1/2 cup sugar, and lemon juice. Let sit for 10 minutes.

Step 3: In another bowl, whisk together flour, remaining 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, and salt. Stir in melted butter, milk, and vanilla until smooth.

Step 4: Pour batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the berry mixture on top—do not stir.

Step 5: Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the topping is golden and cooked through.

Step 6: Let cool slightly before serving. Best enjoyed warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Storage Information

Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or oven before serving. Cobbler can also be frozen for up to 2 months—thaw in the fridge and warm before enjoying.
