Steak and Pepper Fries

Instructions

Step 1: Peel and cut the potatoes into fries, rinse them under cold water, and pat dry thoroughly.

Step 2: Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pan and fry the potatoes until golden and crispy. Remove and lightly season with salt.

Step 3: Season the beef strips with paprika, onion powder, black pepper, and half of the salt.

Step 4: Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 5: Add the beef strips and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Step 6: In the same skillet, sauté the sliced onions and bell peppers until softened but still slightly crisp.

Step 7: Add minced garlic and soy sauce, stirring well to combine.

Step 8: Return the cooked beef to the skillet and toss everything together for 2 minutes.

Step 9: Arrange the steak and peppers alongside the crispy fries on serving plates.

Step 10: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately while hot.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover steak and peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the fries separate to maintain crispiness.

Reheat the steak and peppers in a skillet over medium heat until warmed through. Reheat the fries in an oven or air fryer at 180°C for 5 to 7 minutes to restore crispiness before serving.
