Steak & Pepper Fries Plate

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare your potatoes by cutting them into fries or use frozen fries, then cook according to package directions until golden and crispy. Set aside and keep warm.

Step 2: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the steak strips with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder.

Step 3: Once the oil is hot, add the steak strips and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned on all sides. Remove and set aside on a plate.

Step 4: In the same skillet, add the sliced onions and cook for 2 minutes until they begin to soften and turn translucent.

Step 5: Add all three bell peppers (green, red, and yellow) to the skillet and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until tender but still slightly crisp.

Step 6: Return the cooked steak to the skillet with the peppers and onions. Pour in the soy sauce and oyster sauce, then toss everything together for 1-2 minutes until well coated and heated through.

Step 7: Plate the steak and pepper mixture on one side of a serving plate and arrange the golden fries on the other side. Serve immediately and enjoy.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store any leftover steak and peppers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the fries separate to prevent them from becoming soggy.

Reheat the steak and peppers in a skillet over medium heat for 3-4 minutes until warmed through. For the fries, reheat in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes to restore their crispiness.

You can also enjoy the steak and pepper mixture as a sandwich filling the next day, or serve it over rice for a delicious variation on the original meal.
