Step 2: In a separate bowl, toss the sliced strawberries with granulated sugar and let them sit for 10 minutes.
Step 3: Place one waffle on a serving plate and spread or pipe a thick layer of whipped cream over it.
Step 4: Add a layer of sliced strawberries evenly across the whipped cream.
Step 5: Place the second waffle on top and repeat the layers of whipped cream and strawberries.
Step 6: Continue layering until all waffles are stacked.
Step 7: Finish with swirls of whipped cream on top and garnish with whole strawberries.
Step 8: Lightly dust the top with powdered sugar before serving.
Step 9: Chill for 15 to 20 minutes before slicing for cleaner layers.
