Step 1: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the instant cheesecake pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Let it sit for 5 minutes to fully set.
Step 2: Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined and creamy.
Step 3: In a trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half the pudding mixture, followed by a layer of strawberries, bananas, and crushed wafers.
Step 4: Repeat with remaining pudding, fruit, and wafers.
Step 5: Garnish the top with additional whole strawberries and banana slices if desired.
Step 6: Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld and layers to set.
Storage Information
Store the pudding in the refrigerator, covered, for up to 3 days. Best enjoyed within 24–48 hours for optimal texture and flavor. Avoid freezing as the fruit and whipped topping may become watery when thawed.
