Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly across the bottom of the baking dish.
Step 3: In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Drop spoonfuls of this mixture over the pie filling.
Step 4: Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the top of the filling and cream cheese.
Step 5: Drizzle the melted butter evenly over the cake mix layer, making sure to moisten as much of the surface as possible.
Step 6: Bake for 40-45 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the edges are bubbly.
Step 7: Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with whipped cream and fresh strawberries if desired.
Storage Information
Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Serve cold or reheat individual portions in the microwave for 20-30 seconds. Not recommended for freezing, as the texture may change.
