Instructions
step 1 Season steaks with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Let sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
step 2 Heat 1 tbsp olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook steaks for 4-5 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove and let rest.
step 3 In another skillet, heat remaining 1 tbsp olive oil over medium heat. Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
step 4 Stir in sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, and cornstarch slurry. Toss to coat prawns and simmer until sauce thickens slightly.
step 5 Steam or boil green beans for 4-5 minutes until tender, then season with a pinch of salt.
step 6 Plate the steak with sweet chilli prawns and green beans. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store components separately in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat prawns gently in a skillet to avoid overcooking. Steaks can be reheated in a pan or oven at low heat. Green beans reheat best in a microwave or lightly sautéed.
