Taco Spaghetti

Instructions

Step 1: Cook spaghetti noodles according to package directions; drain and set aside.

Step 2: In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat until beef is browned; drain excess grease.

Step 3: Stir in taco seasoning, diced tomatoes with green chilies, salsa, and green bell peppers. Simmer for 5 minutes.

Step 4: Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in sour cream and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.

Step 5: Sprinkle extra cheddar cheese over the top. Cover and let sit for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melted.

Step 6: Serve hot, optionally garnished with chopped cilantro or sliced jalapeños.

Storage Information

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in the microwave or on the stovetop over low heat. Freezing is possible; cool completely, then freeze for up to 1 month. Thaw overnight in the fridge before reheating.
