Instructions
Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with salt, pepper, and paprika. Sear chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
Step 2: In the same skillet, add diced onion and cook for 2-3 minutes until soft. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 3: Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and chicken broth, stirring to combine. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Stir in heavy cream and return chicken to the skillet. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, spooning sauce over the chicken until everything is coated and heated through.
Step 5: Garnish with chopped parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or warm rolls.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stovetop or in the microwave, adding a splash of broth or cream if needed to maintain the sauce’s creaminess.
