Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet

Instructions:

Step 1: Season the chicken pieces with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.

Step 2: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes. Remove and set aside.

Step 3: In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and melt the butter. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Step 4: Add the cooked chicken back into the skillet and toss to coat in the butter garlic sauce.

Step 5: Stir in chopped parsley and optional honey or brown sugar if desired. Let everything simmer together for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 6: Garnish with additional parsley and serve hot with mashed potatoes, rice, or steamed veggies.

Storage Information:

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat, adding a splash of broth or water to keep the sauce from drying out. This dish can also be frozen for up to 2 months; thaw and reheat before serving.
