Instructions
Step 1: In a bowl, whisk together olive oil, soy sauce, balsamic vinegar, minced garlic, Dijon mustard, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, salt, and paprika.
Step 2: Add beef cubes to the marinade, toss well to coat, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
Step 3: Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, around 400-450 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 4: Thread marinated beef cubes onto skewers, leaving a small gap between each piece for even cooking.
Step 5: Place skewers on the hot grill and cook for 3-4 minutes per side for medium-rare, or longer if you prefer well-done beef.
Step 6: While the beef cooks, prepare the fries by frying in oil at 350 degrees until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
Step 7: Arrange fresh greens on a plate, top with tomato slices and red onion rings, and season lightly with salt and pepper.
Step 8: Remove skewers from the grill and let rest for 2 minutes, then plate alongside the fries and fresh salad.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover grilled beef skewers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad separate to prevent wilting.
To reheat, remove the beef from the skewers and warm gently in a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes, or use the oven at 350 degrees for about 5 minutes until heated through.
Fries are best enjoyed fresh, but you can reheat them in a 375-degree oven for 3-4 minutes to restore crispiness.
For meal prep, marinate the beef the night before and grill just before serving for the best results and optimal flavor.
