Vanilla Custard Cream Squares

Instructions:

Step 1: In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar until combined. Press into the bottom of a 9×9-inch baking dish to form the crust. Refrigerate while preparing the filling.

Step 2: In another bowl, whisk the pudding mix and cold milk until thickened, about 2 minutes. Set aside.

Step 3: In a separate large bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.

Step 4: Fold the prepared pudding into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined. Then gently fold in the whipped topping.

Step 5: Spread the mixture evenly over the prepared crust. Smooth the top with a spatula.

Step 6: Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight until set. Before serving, top with additional whipped topping and a dusting of powdered sugar.

Storage Information:
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. These bars are best enjoyed chilled.
