Instructions
Step 1. Divide the ground beef into four equal balls and lightly season them with salt and black pepper. /n
Step 2. Heat a cast-iron skillet or griddle over medium-high heat and add the vegetable oil. /n
Step 3. Place the beef balls onto the hot skillet and smash them flat with a spatula to form thin patties. /n
Step 4. Cook the patties for about 2–3 minutes until a crispy crust forms on the bottom. /n
Step 5. Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of American cheese on each patty, cooking for another 1–2 minutes until melted. /n
Step 6. In a separate pan cook the bacon until crispy, then set aside on paper towels. /n
Step 7. Toast the brioche buns with butter in a skillet until golden brown. /n
Step 8. Spread mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard on the bottom bun. /n
Step 9. Layer two cheesy patties on each bun, then add bacon, pickles, tomato slices, diced onions, and shredded lettuce. /n
Step 10. Close the burger with the top bun and serve immediately.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover burger patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat the patties in a skillet over medium heat to maintain their crust. Toast fresh buns and assemble the burger just before serving for the best taste and texture.
