What does it mean when your dog licks your face or brings you toys?

The wagging tail

When a dog’s tail moves quickly, it’s often a sign of  joy . A slow, rhythmic movement  , on the other hand, can convey a state of  calm  or appeasement . If the tail is low and  wagging , your dog is probably a little  fearful  or  uncomfortable .

Body posture

A confident dog holds its  head and tail upright . Conversely, if its tail is  tucked between its legs  and its body  is arched , it is probably feeling  stressed  or  scared .

Facial expressions

A relaxed dog often has a slightly open mouth and a lolling tongue. If he  curls his lips and shows his teeth , beware: he is on the defensive. Observing  your companion’s expressions  can help you better understand his  emotions .
