When the underbelly gets involved: a neighborhood story like no other

A fluorescent pink object and a question that piques curiosity

It was just another Tuesday.  Claire , between two loads of laundry, was folding her son Lucas ‘s superhero underwear  . When suddenly, looking up at the bedroom window, she saw a floating garland of… underwear. But not just any underwear. Candy-pink thongs, lace panties, pieces so light they looked like they’d come straight from a luxury lingerie department.

And like any good curious child,  Lucas  asks, his eyes wide:
— Mom, what is this pink thing? A slingshot?

Claire  stifles a laugh, but senses she’s going to have to find an answer… and fast. Because while eight-year-olds may dream of superhero capes, they’re not yet ready for the nitty-gritty of real life.
