Instructions
Step 1: In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined. Form into 4 even patties.
Step 2: Heat olive oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium heat. Cook chicken patties for 5-6 minutes per side, or until fully cooked through and golden brown.
Step 3: In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of pepper jack cheese on each patty. Cover with a lid to melt the cheese.
Step 4: Toast the burger buns lightly. Spread mayonnaise on the top buns.
Step 5: Assemble each burger by layering lettuce, red onion, tomato, chicken patty with melted cheese, guacamole, jalapeño slices, and the top bun.
Storage Information
Store leftover cooked chicken patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or in the microwave until heated through. For best results, store toppings and buns separately to maintain freshness and texture.
