Ingredients

For the sausage, egg & cheese pie:
500g sausage meat
3 hard-boiled eggs, peeled
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1/4 cup grated carrot (optional)
1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs
Salt and pepper to taste
1 pack ready-rolled shortcrust pastry or puff pastry
1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

For the crinkle-cut chips:
4 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced into 1cm thick rounds
1 tablespoon olive oil
