Salisbury Steak is a comforting American classic made with seasoned ground beef patties simmered in a rich mushroom and onion gravy. It’s hearty, flavorful, and perfect served over mashed potatoes or egg noodles with a side of vegetables.

Ingredients:
For the steak patties:
500 g ground beef
1/2 small onion, finely grated
1 garlic clove, minced
1/4 cup breadcrumbs
1 tbsp ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp mustard powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 egg

For the mushroom gravy:
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
200 g mushrooms, sliced
1 small onion, thinly sliced
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped parsley for garnish (optional)
