A hard truth to believe

Adam immediately alerted the city police . The officers discovered not only Max, the German Shepherd, locked inside the house, but also something even more tragic: the lifeless body of the former owner of the bike shop . He had died suddenly, leaving behind his two dogs, unbeknownst to anyone.
Since that fateful day, Rufus survived alone, feeding Max day after day, perhaps hoping that their master would return. A heartbreaking loyalty, worthy of the greatest cinematic stories .
