Instructions
step 1: Prepare the fries by deep frying or baking until golden and crisp. Season with salt and set aside.
step 2: Grill or pan-fry the burger patties and chicken fillets until fully cooked and slightly charred.
step 3: If using, fry the bologna or sausage and any extra fillings like crispy chicken or fish.
step 4: Toast the hollowed-out quarter loaf lightly, including the sliced top, to help it hold structure.
step 5: Layer the inside of the bread with hot fries and immediately top with cheddar cheese slices so they melt.
step 6: Stack the cooked meats over the cheese and fries, alternating layers for even distribution.
step 7: Drizzle generously with BBQ sauce, burger sauce, and hot sauce to taste — don’t hold back, it should drip!
step 8: Cap it with the toasted bread top and serve immediately, with napkins ready.
Storage and Reheating Tips.
Kotas are best eaten fresh while hot and saucy. If needed, store leftovers in foil or a sealed container in the fridge for up to 1 day. Reheat in the oven or air fryer to restore crispness, but note that bread may soften and sauces will soak in further.
