Step 1 Marinate the chicken with BBQ sauce, soy sauce, honey, and black pepper for at least 30 minutes.
Step 2 Heat a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until fully cooked and caramelized on the outside.
Step 3 Remove the chicken, let it rest, then slice into pieces.
Step 4 In a large pan, heat vegetable oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
Step 5 Add mixed vegetables and cook for 2–3 minutes.
Step 6 Push vegetables to one side and scramble the beaten eggs until fully cooked.
Step 7 Add cooked rice, breaking up clumps, and stir to combine.
Step 8 Stir in soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper.
Step 9 Mix everything well and cook until heated through.
Step 10 Serve sliced BBQ chicken over or לצד the fried rice and garnish with green onions.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or oil to keep rice moist.
Microwave in short intervals, stirring between each, until evenly heated.
Avoid overheating the chicken to maintain its juiciness.
