Instructions:
Step 1: In a bowl, toss beef strips with soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
Step 2: Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Sear beef in batches for 1–2 minutes until browned. Remove and set aside.
Step 3: Add remaining oil to the pan. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger for 1 minute.
Step 4: Add bell peppers and mushrooms, stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until slightly tender.
Step 5: Return beef to the pan. Add oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and water. Stir to coat everything evenly.
Step 6: Cook for another 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens and everything is heated through.
Step 7: Taste and adjust salt and pepper as needed. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store stir fry in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or microwave in short bursts, stirring in between. Add a splash of water if needed to loosen the sauce.
