Instructions
step 1 In a bowl, toss sliced beef with 2 tablespoons soy sauce and cornstarch. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.
step 2 In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar. Set aside.
step 3 Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
step 4 Add the beef and cook for 2–3 minutes until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
step 5 In the same pan, add a bit more oil if needed, then stir fry the onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms for 4–5 minutes until slightly tender.
step 6 Return the beef to the pan, pour in the sauce, and toss everything together. Cook for another 2–3 minutes until heated through and well coated.
step 7 Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot over rice or noodles.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet over medium heat or microwave in short intervals until warmed through. Add a splash of water or soy sauce if needed to loosen the sauce.
