Braised Chicken Feet

Instructions

step 1 Blanch the chicken feet in boiling water for 5 minutes, then drain and rinse under cold water.
step 2 In a large pot or wok, heat vegetable oil over medium heat.
step 3 Add garlic and ginger and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
step 4 Stir in soy sauce, dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, rice wine, sugar, and chili flakes (if using).
step 5 Add chicken feet to the sauce and stir to coat evenly.
step 6 Pour in chicken broth and bring to a boil.
step 7 Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1.5 to 2 hours until chicken feet are tender.
step 8 Uncover and cook for an additional 10–15 minutes to reduce the sauce slightly.
step 9 Drizzle with sesame oil and stir gently.
step 10 Garnish with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat on the stovetop over low heat until warmed through, adding a splash of water or broth if needed to loosen the sauce. Avoid freezing as the texture may change upon thawing.
