Burger King Whopper Copycat Recipe

Instructions

Step 1: Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty about 4-5 inches in diameter. Season with salt and pepper.

Step 2: Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness. For a flame-grilled flavor, grill over open flame or use a grill pan.

Step 3: While the patties cook, butter the inside of the buns and toast them lightly on the grill or in a skillet until golden.

Step 4: To assemble, spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun and ketchup on the top bun.

Step 5: Place the cooked burger patty on the bottom bun, followed by lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and onions.

Step 6: Add a slice of cheese if desired, and top with the other half of the bun.

Step 7: Serve immediately with fries or your favorite sides.

Storage Information

Cooked burger patties can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat in a skillet or microwave. For best results, assemble the burgers fresh rather than storing fully assembled.
