Rarely, brain tumors can cause headaches with specific warning signs, such as:
- Waking you up at night or early morning
- Accompanied by nausea, blurred vision, or light sensitivity
- Worsening when bending over, coughing, or straining
- Becoming more frequent or intense over weeks
Headaches linked to serious conditions often behave differently, feeling deeper or more pressure-like. The key is a change in pattern—new, persistent, and resistant to usual treatment.
A headache that worsens steadily or comes with new neurological symptoms (like vision changes or balance issues) should be evaluated by a doctor.
3. Back Pain That Wakes You Up or Never Really Goes Away
