Instructions

step 1 Preheat your oven to 350°F 175°C and grease a baking dish with butter /n
step 2 In a skillet cook the bacon until crispy then crumble and set aside /n
step 3 In a large bowl whisk together eggs milk heavy cream garlic powder salt and black pepper /n
step 4 Add in the cubed bread diced onion diced bell pepper and half of the cheese then mix well /n
step 5 Fold in the cooked bacon and pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish /n
step 6 Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top /n
step 7 Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the center is set and the top is golden brown /n
step 8 Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm in the oven at 300°F until heated through. This casserole can also be frozen for up to 2 months and thawed overnight in the refrigerator before reheating.
