Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic until the meat is browned and onions are soft. Drain excess grease.
Step 3: Stir in salt, pepper, ketchup, and mustard. Cook for another 2 minutes to blend the flavors.
Step 4: Spread the beef mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle with both cheeses, followed by the crumbled bacon.
Step 5: Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer on top of the cheese and bacon.
Step 6: Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes or until the tater tots are crispy and golden brown.
Step 7: Let sit for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with chopped pickles if desired.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven or air fryer at 350°F until warmed through. This dish can also be frozen before or after baking—just thaw and reheat before serving.
