Step 1: Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.

Step 9: Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are lightly golden and the centers remain soft.
Step 10: Sprinkle with flaky sea salt while warm if desired.
Step 11: Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store the cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
To keep cookies soft, place a slice of bread inside the storage container.
Freeze baked cookies or cookie dough for up to 3 months.
Warm cookies in the microwave for 10 to 15 seconds before serving for a fresh-from-the-oven texture.
