Instructions
Step 1: Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat./n
Step 2: Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread./n
Step 3: Place two slices of bread butter-side down in the skillet./n
Step 4: Add cheese slices on top of each piece of bread./n
Step 5: Cover with the remaining slices of bread, butter-side up./n
Step 6: Cook for 3–4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
Step 7: Flip the sandwiches carefully and cook another 3–4 minutes until the other side is golden and the cheese is melted./n
Step 8: Remove from skillet, let cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Grilled cheese is best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. Reheat in a skillet over low heat or in an air fryer to restore crispiness. Avoid microwaving as it may make the bread soggy.
