Creamy Brussels Sprouts with Bacon Skillet

Instructions

Step 1: In a large oven-safe skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and set aside, leaving about 1 tablespoon of bacon fat in the skillet.

Step 2: Add the Brussels sprouts to the skillet, cut side down. Cook for 5-7 minutes until golden brown, then stir and cook another 3-4 minutes until tender.

Step 3: Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 4: Reduce heat to low and pour in the heavy cream. Stir in Parmesan cheese and half of the mozzarella. Season with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if using.

Step 5: Sprinkle remaining mozzarella and crispy bacon over the top. Place skillet under the broiler for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Step 6: Serve hot as a side dish or main course.
