step 1 Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. During the last 2 minutes of cooking, add broccoli to the pot. Drain and set aside.
step 2 While the pasta cooks, season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Let rest, then slice.
step 3 In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
step 4 Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, black pepper, and Italian seasoning (if using). Cook until sauce thickens slightly.
step 5 Add cooked pasta and broccoli to the skillet, tossing to coat in the Alfredo sauce.
step 6 Top with sliced chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
step 7 Serve immediately while hot.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in a skillet over low heat, adding a splash of milk or cream to loosen the sauce. Avoid microwaving for too long as it may separate the sauce.
