Crispy Chicken Cordon Bleu Rolls

Instructions

Step 1: Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and pound to about 1/4-inch thickness using a meat mallet or rolling pin.

Step 2: Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.

Step 3: Lay two slices of ham and two slices of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast. Roll up tightly and secure with toothpicks.

Step 4: Dredge each chicken roll in flour, dip into beaten eggs, then coat with panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Step 5: Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook the chicken rolls, turning occasionally, until golden brown on all sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 6: Transfer the rolls to a baking sheet and bake in a preheated 375°F (190°C) oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is melted.

Step 7: Remove toothpicks, slice, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with your favorite sauce or a fresh salad.
