Crockpot Barbecue Ribs

Instructions

Step 1: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry. /n
Step 2: In a small bowl, mix paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder. /n
Step 3: Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over both sides of the ribs. /n
Step 4: Cut the racks into sections to fit into the crockpot. /n
Step 5: Place the ribs into the crockpot, stacking if necessary. /n
Step 6: In a bowl, combine barbecue sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar. /n
Step 7: Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, coating them well. /n
Step 8: Cover and cook on low for 6–8 hours or on high for 3–4 hours until tender. /n
Step 9: (Optional) Transfer ribs to a baking sheet, brush with extra sauce, and broil for 3–5 minutes for a caramelized finish. /n
Step 10: Serve hot with extra barbecue sauce.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover ribs in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat in the oven at 300°F (150°C) covered with foil to keep them moist. You can also reheat in the microwave in short intervals. Freeze for up to 2 months and thaw before reheating.
