Instructions
Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Step 2: In a skillet, cook the diced bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.
Step 3: Spread the thawed hash browns evenly in the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle cooked bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Step 4: In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Pour the egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
Step 5: Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until the eggs are set and the top is golden brown. Let cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing.
Step 6: Garnish with chopped chives or green onions, if desired, and serve warm.
Storage Information
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Reheat individual portions in the microwave or warm in the oven at 325°F (165°C) until heated through.
