Instructions:
Step 1: In a bowl, beat the egg whites until slightly frothy. Stir in the grated cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Add flour and mix until a dough-like consistency forms. Scoop out small portions and roll into balls.
Step 3: Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
Step 4: Heat oil in a deep skillet or pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the cheese balls in batches for 2–3 minutes or until golden brown.
Step 5: Remove and drain on paper towels. Let cool slightly before serving.
Storage Information:
Serve immediately for best texture. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 2 days and reheat in the oven or air fryer to retain crispiness.
