Garlic Butter Lobster & Scallops

Instructions

Step 1: Preheat your broiler to high heat and position the rack about 6 inches from the heat source.

Step 2: Pat the lobster tails and scallops dry with paper towels, then arrange them in an aluminum foil pan with the lobster meat side up.

Step 3: In a small bowl, melt 4 tablespoons of butter and whisk in the minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper.

Step 4: Brush the garlic butter generously over the lobster and scallops, reserving some for drizzling.

Step 5: Place the pan under the broiler and cook for 8-12 minutes, until the lobster is opaque and the scallops are just cooked through and lightly golden.

Step 6: Remove from the broiler and drizzle the remaining butter and wine over the seafood.

Step 7: Garnish with fresh parsley, chives, and lemon slices before serving.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The scallops and lobster are best enjoyed fresh, but can be gently reheated if needed.

To reheat, place the seafood in a low oven at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for about 5-8 minutes, just until warmed through. Avoid high heat, which can overcook the delicate scallops and lobster meat.

You can also enjoy the leftovers cold the next day as part of a seafood salad or pasta dish.
