Instructions
Step 1: Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and arrange a large piece of heavy-duty foil in a baking pan.
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine the butter and minced garlic, then add Old Bay seasoning, paprika, black pepper, salt, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
Step 3: Arrange the corn pieces on the foil, then place the shrimp around them. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the shrimp and corn.
Step 4: Pour the broth over everything and squeeze fresh lemon juice across the top. Fold the foil loosely to create a packet, leaving some room for steam to circulate.
Step 5: Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, until the shrimp are pink and cooked through and the corn is tender.
Step 6: Carefully open the foil packet, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days. The shrimp is best enjoyed fresh, as it can become rubbery when reheated.
To reheat, gently warm the shrimp boil in a 300-degree oven for about 8 to 10 minutes, or warm it gently on the stovetop over low heat with a splash of broth to maintain moisture.
This dish doesn’t freeze well due to the texture of the shrimp, so enjoy it within a couple of days of cooking for the best results.
