Garlic Butter Steak & Eggs Skillet

Instructions

Step 1: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering and hot.

Step 2: Season your steak bites generously with salt and pepper on all sides.

Step 3: Add the steak pieces to the hot skillet and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and caramelized. Work in batches if needed to avoid overcrowding.

Step 4: Reduce heat to medium and push the steak to the side of the skillet.

Step 5: Add butter and minced garlic to the empty space in the skillet, stirring gently for about 1 minute until fragrant.

Step 6: Gently crack the eggs into the skillet around the steak, allowing them to cook in the garlic butter.

Step 7: Cook until the egg whites are set but yolks remain runny, about 4-5 minutes depending on your preference.

Step 8: Sprinkle fresh parsley and red pepper flakes over everything, then taste and adjust seasonings as needed.

Step 9: Transfer to a serving plate and enjoy immediately while warm.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Best enjoyed fresh and hot right off the skillet, but leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.

To reheat, gently warm the steak and eggs in a skillet over low heat with a splash of butter to prevent drying out. Avoid the microwave as it can toughen the steak and cook the eggs unevenly.

For meal prep, cook the steak separately and store it with the seasoning, then fry fresh eggs when you’re ready to serve for the best texture and flavor.
