Instructions:
step 1 Pat steaks dry with paper towels and season generously with salt and pepper.
step 2 Heat olive oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Add steaks and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or to your preferred doneness.
step 3 During the last minute of cooking, add butter, minced garlic, and rosemary or thyme. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks as they finish cooking. Remove steaks and let rest.
step 4 In a separate skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add green beans and garlic. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until beans are tender-crisp. Season with salt and pepper.
step 5 For garlic bread, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Mix softened butter with minced garlic and spread over bread slices. Top with mozzarella and herbs.
step 6 Bake garlic bread for 8-10 minutes or until cheese is melted and edges are golden.
step 7 Serve sliced steak with sautéed green beans and cheesy garlic bread on the side.
Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store steak and green beans in separate airtight containers in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat steak gently in a skillet or microwave to avoid overcooking. Garlic bread is best fresh but can be reheated in the oven or toaster oven for crispiness.
