Instructions
step 1 In a small bowl, combine olive oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub the mixture over both sides of the steaks and let marinate for 30 minutes at room temperature.
step 2 Preheat grill or skillet to high heat. Grill steaks for 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or cook to desired doneness. Let rest for 5–10 minutes before serving.
step 3 Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Scrub potatoes, pierce with a fork, and rub with olive oil. Wrap in foil and bake for 45–60 minutes or until soft.
step 4 Once baked, slice potatoes open and fluff the insides with a fork. Add butter, sour cream, shredded cheese, salt, and pepper to taste.
step 5 In a bowl, toss together salad greens, shredded carrots, cucumber, red onion, and shredded cheese. Drizzle with ranch dressing and season lightly with salt and pepper.
step 6 Serve the grilled steak alongside the loaded baked potato and fresh salad.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover steak and potato in airtight containers for up to 3 days in the refrigerator. Reheat steak gently in a skillet over medium heat or wrapped in foil in the oven. Reheat baked potato in the microwave or oven. Keep salad components separate and toss fresh when ready to serve.
