Loaded Hot Dog & Cheeseburger Stack

Instructions

step 1 Grill or pan-fry the hot dogs until nicely browned and cooked through. Set aside.
step 2 Season burger patties with salt and pepper. Cook in a skillet or on a grill for 3–4 minutes per side, adding a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking to melt.
step 3 Toast the sandwich roll or bread in a pan with a bit of butter until golden, if desired.
step 4 Layer the base with chopped onions or fries, then place lettuce and tomato slices.
step 5 Add the cooked hot dogs side by side, then stack the cheesy burger patties on top.
step 6 Drizzle ketchup, mayo, and cheese sauce over the whole stack generously.
step 7 Serve immediately with plenty of napkins and enjoy the layers of flavor!

Storage and Reheating Tips

This dish is best enjoyed fresh due to the multiple warm and cold layers. However, leftover patties and hot dogs can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat them in a skillet or microwave before assembling. Avoid pre-assembling to prevent sogginess.
