Ingredients
For the Ox Liver:
1 lb ox liver, cleaned and sliced
1 tablespoon olive oil or vegetable oil
1 onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup beef stock or water
For the Pap (Maize Meal):
2 cups maize meal (cornmeal)
4 cups water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon butter (optional)
For the Tomato Bean Relish:
1 tablespoon oil
1 small onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced
1 large tomato, chopped (or 1/2 can chopped tomatoes)
1 cup canned baked beans
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 teaspoon mild curry powder (optional)
