Pan-Seared Steak with Sautéed Shrimp, Onions & Peppers with Mashed Potatoes

Instructions:
step 1 Season both sides of the steaks with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Let them rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes.
step 2 Boil potatoes in salted water for 15-20 minutes until fork-tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
step 3 In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes per side or until desired doneness. Remove from pan and let rest.
step 4 In the same skillet, add butter and olive oil. Sauté onions and bell peppers for 3-4 minutes until softened.
step 5 Add shrimp to the pan, season with paprika, salt, and pepper, and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and slightly golden.
step 6 Slice the rested steak and plate it with sautéed shrimp, onions, and peppers.
step 7 Serve with a generous scoop of mashed potatoes and garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired.

Storage and Reheating Tips:
Store leftovers in separate airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat steak and shrimp in a skillet over low heat to retain tenderness. Microwave mashed potatoes with a splash of milk for creaminess. Avoid overcooking shrimp when reheating.
