Instructions
Step 1 In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, cornstarch, and sesame oil. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
Step 2 Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned and just cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.
Step 3 In the same pan, add another tablespoon of oil. Sauté the garlic and onion until fragrant and slightly softened.
Step 4 Add the sliced red and green bell peppers and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly tender but still crisp.
Step 5 Push the vegetables to one side of the pan and pour in the beaten eggs. Scramble until fully cooked.
Step 6 Add the mixed vegetables and cooked rice to the pan. Stir well to combine everything evenly.
Step 7 Return the cooked beef to the pan and toss everything together. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
Step 8 Stir in chopped green onions and cook for another minute. Serve hot.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
Reheat in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of water or oil to prevent drying out.
You can also microwave in short intervals, stirring in between for even heating.
Avoid freezing as the texture of the rice and vegetables may become mushy.
