Soft Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Instructions

Step 1: In a bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy./n
Step 2: Add melted butter, egg, and salt, then gradually mix in flour until a soft dough forms./n
Step 3: Knead the dough for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic, then place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size./n
Step 4: Roll the dough out into a large rectangle on a floured surface./n
Step 5: Spread softened butter over the dough, then sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon./n
Step 6: Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into even rolls./n
Step 7: Place the rolls into a greased baking dish, cover, and let rise for another 30 minutes./n
Step 8: Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown./n
Step 9: Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make a glaze.
Step 10: Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and serve.

Storage and Reheating Tips

Store leftover cinnamon rolls in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days or in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.

Reheat in the microwave for 15–20 seconds or in the oven at 160°C (325°F) until warm.

These rolls can also be frozen for up to 2 months. Thaw and reheat before serving.
