Instructions
Step 1: Pat the chicken drumsticks dry with paper towels to help them brown evenly.
Step 2: In a small bowl, combine paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the drumsticks, coating them generously.
Step 3: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, place the drumsticks in the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
Step 4: Reduce heat to medium and continue cooking for another 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
Step 5: While the chicken cooks, prepare the French fries according to package directions until golden and crispy.
Step 6: Arrange lettuce on a plate and top with sliced cucumber, cherry tomatoes, and any other fresh vegetables you prefer.
Step 7: Remove the drumsticks from the skillet and let rest for 2 minutes. Arrange on your plate alongside the fries and salad.
Step 8: Serve with creamy sauce for dipping both the chicken and fries. Enjoy immediately while everything is warm and fresh.
Storage and Reheating Tips
Store leftover chicken drumsticks in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Keep the salad separate to prevent wilting.
Reheat drumsticks in a 350 degree Fahrenheit oven for 10-12 minutes until warmed through. This keeps them crispy rather than soggy.
Leftover fries are best enjoyed fresh, but you can reheat them in a hot skillet or oven to restore their crispness.
